According to him, all the already imposed sanctions were developed in coordination with the EU, Australia, Japan, Canada, New Zealand, Great Britain.
He noted that they are aimed at slowing down Russia’s economic growth and reducing its military capabilities.
“Our measures were not designed to in any way disrupt the current supply of energy resources from Russia to the rest of the world. As for the long-term production capabilities of Russia, we seek to weaken these opportunities, but in the short term nothing is planned in relation to energy,” the statement said.
