This Saturday was the fifth anniversary of the Pulse nightclub massacre in Orlando, Florida. According to the Gun Violence File, the US recorded 272 mass shootings this year. This weekend, at least nine people were killed and 47 others injured in eight shootings in six states: Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas and Washington.
