WASHINGTON DC, KOMPAS.com – Votes for Joe Biden of the US presidential election (presidential election United States of America) in Michigan soared more than 138,000 on Wednesday morning (4/11/2020) local time, apparently due to a typo.
“So when everyone went to bed and everyone went home, the Democrats in Michigan miraculously got 138,339 votes, and all 138,339 votes magically fell to Biden? That’s not suspicious at all, “one quipped netizen in twitter.
The jump in numbers was initially accused of cheating in the elections AS, but immediately clarified by the clerk Caroline Wilson of Shiawassee County, central Michigan.

“I added the extra zeros by accident,” resulting in 153,710 votes for Biden, when it should have been 15,371.
“Once (the error) was found it was corrected immediately, maybe after 20 minutes, so I was surprised how quickly it spread,” Wilson told the news agency. AFP.
The error was immediately corrected by local state officials, but independent analysts claimed it was a scam online in the US presidential election.
After the number was corrected, the Democrats “lost” 138,339 votes from the typo, while the votes for Trump unaffected.

Sharpie pen polemic
Rumors of cheating American elections Other unions have also emerged in Arizona, claiming that voters were being forced to wear a Sharpie (a brand of pen), so that it would not be read and votes for Trump would not be counted.
“The TPS officer took a pen from the voters and told him to use a Sharpie. Sharpie’s ink was translucent. All who voted with a Sharpie could not be read,” wrote a post on Facebook.
The post also includes a video in which a man says, “People come here to vote Donald Trump, and their voices are invalid. “

But officials – including Arizona State Secretary Katie Hobbs – say wearing a Sharpie will not invalidate a vote, and voters can bring their own pens.
“IMPORTANT: If you choose yourself, your vote will be counted, no matter what pen (including Sharpie) is used,” Hobbs wrote on Twitter.
