The fierce battle is fought for 11 Arizona electoral votes. After counting 98 percent of the votes, Joe Biden leads the US President by just under 13,000 votes. An equally small difference in votes divides the candidates in the race for 16 electoral votes of the state of Georgia. We are still waiting for the election winner in North Carolina (15 electoral votes). The president, who fights for re-election, carries about 65,000 votes. There are still 2 percent of the votes to be counted – that is, about 110,000 voting cards.

Joe Biden was declared the winner on Saturday November 7 – four days after the election. When deciding to take this step, all major American media stated that the remaining mathematical votes could no longer change the result of the election. Donald Trump did not acknowledge his defeat – he accuses the Democrats of alleged electoral fraud and announces court battles, but without presenting any evidence to confirm his theses.

Donald Trump’s election team has filed lawsuits in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Georgia, and also signaled that it plans to file a motion to recount votes in Wisconsin. Lawsuits in Georgia and Michigan have now been dismissed. In Pennsylvania, even if they are successful, they will not change the outcome of the competition for the White House, given Joe Biden’s advantage in this state, says Hill.
