Details: According to the CAPS-Harris Poll, support for the US president is 45%. This is slightly more than in a similar survey in October – then it received the support of 44% of respondents. In September, the same poll gave Biden 42% support.

In particular, 44% of Americans surveyed approve of Biden’s economic policies (41% in October), and half of respondents approved of his actions to stimulate employment (49% in October).

The assessment of the US president’s performance in the field of foreign policy, government management, response to COVID-19, the fight against violence and crime in the country and the war between Israel and Hamas also increased by one percentage point.

As The Hill notes, the increase in Biden’s ratings in the survey occurred against the backdrop of improving economic sentiment among Americans: the thesis that the US economy is strong today was supported by 42% – this is the highest figure since February of this year.

At the same time, sociologists still express doubts whether the American president will be able to turn economic success into victory in the presidential elections in 2024.

The CAPS-Harris poll continued Nov. 15-16 and covered 2,851 registered voters.

Note that another NBC News poll showed that US President Joe Biden’s rating has decreased to the lowest level for the entire duration of his presidency – 40%, since the vast majority of voters do not approve of his foreign policy and actions regarding the war between Israel and Hamas.
