US President Joe Biden warns Iran about possible attack on Israel

White House spokesman John Kirby said earlier tonight that Iran’s threats are “real and credible.” Kirby leaves it open as to when or where Iran would attack. He also states that the US intends to “do everything possible to ensure that Israel can defend itself”.

Israel takes Iran’s threats seriously and in turn sends out warnings of its own. For example, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that his country is aware of the increased threat and that Israel is facing “challenging times”, but that the country is also ready for all scenarios. “We have a simple rule: whoever attacks us can expect an attack in return.”
