US President Biden Reminds Terrible Impact of Monkeypox Outbreak

President United States of America, Joe Bidenreminiscent of the terrible impact of the plague monkey pox which is now reported by a number of countries including the US.

Biden asked the public to be aware of the monkeypox outbreak.

“We are working hard to find out what we can do, and what vaccines are appropriate and available to deal with that.”

Meanwhile, monkeypox cases have been detected in North America and Europe since early May. The spread of the epidemic is now a global concern.

The first case of monkeypox in the US alone was reported on May 18 in Massachusetts.

As reported AFP, most people take several weeks to recover from monkeypox. The disease can also be fatal, although in rare cases.

The World Health Organization (WHO) reported that as of Saturday (21/5), as many as 92 cases of monkeypox were confirmed in countries that are not endemic areas for the virus that causes monkeypox.

The virus is spread to humans through animals. This virus also causes symptoms like ordinary smallpox.
