On the 3rd day of the US Open tournament, heavy rains set in and although the Louis Armstrong Stadium has a roof, the wet came into the arena from the side. The game between Diego Schwartzman and Kevin Anderson had to be canceled. Mayor Bill de Blasio declared a state of emergency after streets and subways were flooded in the city.
