Minneapolis – Minneapolis braces for the trial of Derek Chauvin, the police officer blamed for George Floyd’s death. The white cop pressed black Floyd against the tarmac for nearly nine minutes, after which Floyd died. Floyd’s death was the start of the largest civil rights protests in the US since the 1960s.
