US inflation slows to 6.4% in January By Investing.com

Investing.com – U.S. annualized inflation slowed to 6.4% in January, reported website of the Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics. Analysts had expected a decline to 6.2%.

Core inflation (excluding food and energy prices) fell to 5.6%.

Against this background, futures for indices are growing: : 4,159.4 points (+0.53%), : 12,583.6 points +0.65%), : 34,401.7 points (+0.45%).
