Major US stock indexes a recorded decrease in the order of one percentage point in the first session of the week.
At 7.30pm the Dow Jones lost 0.63% to 42,087 points, while the S&P500 was down 0.48% to 5,724 points. Negative performance also for the Nasdaq (-0.51% to 18,046 points).
The stock of the oil sector continues to growafter the price of crude oil in New York (contract expiring in November 2024) exceeded 77 dollars per barrel. Chevron and Exxon Mobil gained 0.27% and 0.43%, respectively.
Negative closing, however, for Amazon.com (-3.06% to 180.8 dollars) and for Tesla (-3.72%).
