(CercleFinance.com) – Household consumption expenditure increased by 0.8% in April compared to the previous month in the United States, according to the Commerce Department, a progression clearly superior to the consensus, for incomes in growth of 0.4%.
Furthermore, the PCE price index increased by 4.4% year on year in April, including an increase of 4.7% excluding food and energy, annual rates therefore up slightly compared to their levels of respectively 4 .2% and 4.6% from March.
