Washington: The bill brought by the Republican Party with the intention of granting 17.6 billion dollars in aid to Israel has been approved by the US. Failed in the House of Representatives. The voting was on Tuesday. The vote failed to get the two-thirds majority required to pass the bill.
Opponents said it was an attempt to divert attention from the $11,830 million bill brought by the administration to allocate aid funds, including to Israel and Ukraine. This bill also includes tougher immigration restrictions as requested by the Republican Party. President Joe Biden said that if the Republican Party defeats the bill, it will help Russian President Vladimir Putin.
