The document reaffirms the US commitment to protecting Israel and demands that Hamas immediately stop attacks and release all hostages.
The resolution, entitled “Standing with Israel in its Defense Against the Barbaric War Waged by Hamas and Other Terrorists,” received almost complete support from all but one Republican and almost all but nine Democrats in the House of Representatives.
