Omicron is still the driving force behind the increase in cases. There are no signs of slowing cases in the country yet.

Governor Andy Beshear urged residents to be vaccinated and wear masks. “Omicron is causing a spike unlike anything we have seen and at this rate our hospital will fill up,” he wrote on Twitter.
