Harris, along with her running mate Tim Walz, will hold events in at least 50 destinations in states that could determine the electoral victory on November 5.
Joining the tour will be Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar; Harris-Walz campaign manager Julie Chavez; television personality Ana Navarro; and reproductive rights broadcaster Anya Cook, who will discuss the effects of the 2022 reversal of Roe v. Wade, which allowed abortion at the federal level.
They will also discuss the threat to access to in vitro fertilization (IVF), a strategy promoted by current Republican candidate Donald Trump during his time as president.
At each point, they will outline the stark difference in Harris and Walz’s views on restoring the protections of Roe v. Wade.
Democrats will focus on warning about how former President Trump and his vice presidential candidate JD Vance intend to impose a conservative agenda, attached to the so-called Project 2025, through which, in addition to prohibiting abortion throughout the country, they will seek to restrict access to contraceptive methods.
Harris’ campaign will also spotlight women who spoke at the Democratic National Convention, held Aug. 19-22 in Chicago, where they addressed stories about reproductive freedom.
