In Formula 1, the US Grand Prix is coming up in Austin. ran shows when training, qualifying, sprint races and races take place and who is broadcasting live on TV and stream.
Formula 1 is back after a four-week autumn break. After the Singapore GP, the pilots are now heading across the pond.
Finally, the USA Grand Prix is on the program from October 18th to 20th. In Austin, before the actual race on Sunday, points are also at stake in the sprint qualifying on Saturday.
There are still six races left before the score is settled and we have either an old or a new world champion. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) is still in pole position, but the competition has been quicker recently. The Dutchman has been without a win for eight races, which has seen his lead in the drivers’ championship dwindle.
Formula 1 Live: Excitement in the fight for the World Cup crown
In the last few races, his closest rivals were not consistently consistent. Lando Norris (McLaren) lived up to his role as favorite neither in Monza nor in Baku and was only able to achieve an important victory in Singapore.
Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) was in strong form with places one and two in Monza and Baku, but botched qualifying in Singapore and was only able to limit the damage with fifth place. Baku winner Oscar Piastri (McLaren) couldn’t quite keep up with the pace in Singapore and only finished third behind an improved Verstappen.
With six races to go, Verstappen has 331 points, 52 points ahead of Norris. Leclerc and Piastri are 86 and 94 points behind the reigning title holders.
Only Norris actually has a realistic chance, but he can no longer become world champion on his own. Even if he scores all possible points, it would be enough for Verstappen to always finish second. Of course, a decision has not yet been made.
