It’s been more than a month Israel attack Gaza in Palestine. The attack using modern weaponry has killed thousands of civilians including children. United States of America (The US) as the country that defends Israel is reportedly frustrated with the government Benjamin Netanyahu et al.
Uncle Sam’s frustration was reported by Al Arabiya, Saturday (21/11/2023).
The media reviewed 21 transcripts of telephone conversations between US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant which were released by the Pentagon from October 7 to November 15.

In the first four transcripts, plus one additional meeting between Austin and Gallant in Israel, the US does not mention the need to protect civilians or comply with international laws regarding war.
Austin told Gallant about the importance of “abiding by the laws of war, including the obligation to protect civilians, and addressing the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza” in a telephone conversation between the two on October 14.
Then in the transcript from October 16-20, discussions about civilians and the need to send humanitarian aid became more intense in the conversation between Austin and Gallant. But the language used by the US changed on October 21, when Austin ‘reaffirmed the importance of protecting civilians’.
In at least 10 consecutive telephone conversations from October 21 to Wednesday (11/15) last week, Austin continued to remind Gallant about the need to protect civilians during Israel’s military operations against the Gaza Strip.
A number of sources familiar with the telephone conversation between Austin and Gallant said the US Defense Minister was ‘frank’ and ‘blunt’ when asking the Israeli Defense Minister for answers about Israeli military operations and their targets. Austin, according to the source, also criticized Gallant regarding the increasing violence by Israeli settlers in the West Bank.
US officials have noted little change in recent Israeli military operations, as they say they are trying to minimize casualties.
