US extends investigation into tax evasion on Vietnamese products
The U.S. Department of Commerce has announced an extension of the deadline for investigating trade remedy tax evasion for certain products imported from Vietnam, the Trade Remedies Department of Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce has informed.

The deadline for issuing the final findings of the trade remedy tax evasion investigation against hardwood plywood panels imported from Vietnam is May 26, 2023.
The deadline for publishing the final findings of the trade remedy tax evasion investigation against solar batteries imported from Vietnam is August 17, 2023.
In order to safeguard the legitimate interests of enterprises, the Trade Remedies Department recommends enterprises producing and exporting the affected products to closely monitor the development of this case.
On the other hand, companies must properly and fully comply with the requirements of the US investigative agency, closely coordinate with the Trade Remedies Department throughout the case to avoid damage.
