US climate envoy John Kerry said on Tuesday that “time is running out” for the world to combat climate change.
He added that he was not convinced that a low-carbon economy would be reached in time to avoid the worst effects for some of the most vulnerable and vulnerable to the effects of climate change.
What is most needed to tackle climate change and achieve a low-carbon economy, Kerry said, is “money, money, money.”
