(AOF) – The US Energy Information Agency (EIA) reported that crude oil inventories fell by 1.508 million barrels last week, with specialists forecasting a drop of 0.983 million barrels after -9.603 million the previous week. Gasoline stocks, for their part, fell by 2.550 million barrels. The consensus expected a drop of 1.417 million barrels. Stocks of distilled products, including heating oil, fell by 1.045 million barrels while the market anticipated an increase of 0.296 million barrels.
Around 5:05 p.m., on the commodities market, a barrel of Brent fell 1.27% to 75.56 dollars.
