US Dollar ranging from IDR 16,000

Jakarta –

The exchange rate of the US dollar against the rupiah weakened this morning. Uncle Sam currency fell 31 points (0.19%) to IDR 15,999.

Referring to RTI data, on Thursday (8/8/2024), the US dollar was the highest at IDR 16,030 and the lowest was IDR 15,999. The US dollar has weakened against the rupiah every day for the past three months.

Movements in the exchange rate of the US dollar against other Asian currencies were also slow. Uncle Sam’s currency depreciated sharply against the Chinese Yuan and the Singapore dollar.

The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Chinese Yuan fell 0.01% to 7.1. In addition, the movement of the exchange rate of the US dollar against the Japanese yen weakened by 0.25% to 145.

Finally, the exchange rate of the US dollar against the Singapore dollar fell by 0.03% to 1.3.
