The US Central Command, “Centcom”, which is responsible for the US military deployment in the Middle East, has published a video showing an air confrontation with Russian warplanes in the skies of Syria in two separate incidents.
This development comes at a time of escalating tensions between Russia and America over several files.
What was in the video?
- The video, which was filmed in infrared and with high quality, shows a Russian “Sukhoi-35” fighter jet intercepting an American plane.
- The 32-second video showed the Russian warplane getting closer and closer to the American plane.
- The video was taken Thursday by an American warplane.
- The “Drive” news website stated that the video was classified, and documented the “violation” of the Russian warplane of the coalition areas in Syria.
