US Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) advises against traveling to Belgium

In addition to Belgium, three other countries were placed at the highest risk level today, namely Russia, Slovakia and Burkina Faso. In total, there are now about 80 countries or regions in the US CDC’s “very high risk of contagion” category.

The official travel advice for those areas reads: “Avoid all travel to these destinations. If you do have to travel there, make sure you are fully vaccinated.”

Our neighboring countries France, the Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg are at level 3, with a “high risk of contamination”. The United Kingdom is in the list, just like Belgium at level 4.
