Many vigils in solidarity with the Palestinian people are held in several regions of the United States of America, which witness the presence of thousands of supporters of the Palestinian people, along with a number of the most prominent stars and filmmakers in Hollywood who decided to break their silence and speak the truth.
One of the most prominent of these stars was the American star Susan Sarandon, who appeared in a march in New York City, during which they denounced the continued violations of the Zionist entity and demanded an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
“Susan” had a speech during the march and commented during it, saying: “You do not have to be Palestinian to stand by the Palestinian people. You do not have to be Palestinian to understand that slaughtering nearly 5,000 children is unacceptable and a war crime.”
She continued: “You do not have to be Palestinian to understand that war crimes are committed every day according to the United Nations and other humanitarian organizations. This is an opportunity to educate people if they want to be open if you can get beyond the tribal instincts that have divided us now for a long time.”
She added: “It is time to open your heart, it is time to be strong and it is time for Palestine to be liberated.”
Many stars and filmmakers around the world have recently broken their silence and supported the Palestinian people against the blatant violations by the Israeli occupation forces and their violation of all international conventions, amid Western media silence and American support.
Among these stars was the American star Mark Ruffalo, who criticized the policies of the Zionist entity and its intransigence in the lack of humanitarian aid reaching the Palestinian side, the cutting of most services, and the lack of access to water or medical aid.
