The Federal Aviation Administration has announced an investigation into an incident that occurred on July 11 during Branson’s flight into space. It turned out that his rocket plane had certain deviations from the trajectory during its descent to Earth.
“Virgin Galactic cannot return SpaceShipTwo to flight until the FAA approves the final investigation report or determines that the incident does not affect public safety.” – writes the press service of the department.
Virgin Galactic notes that despite the deviations, the aircraft did not leave the designated airspace.
