“As you remember, back in December, I said that we should sell F-16 aircraft to Turkey and modernize them. It is in our interests to support such a desire,” Biden said.
According to the head of the United States, there are no mutual favors in the sale of fighters. In October, Turkey asked Washington to sell 40 Lockheed Martin F-16 fighter jets and nearly 80 kits to upgrade existing combat aircraft.
