Thanks to US officials they were able to seize the fake Airpods and Apple Watch and in total these officers managed to seize $290,000 worth of fake products from Apple. It appears the products were in Apple’s “signature plain white packaging” and were headed from China to an address in Virginia.

But if there is something important to note, it is that Apple has fought against counterfeit products for many years, however, it has been a big problem especially for AirPods and AirPods Pro. In fact, according to reports from 2021, fake AirPods they had cost Apple about $3.2 billion.

Counterfeit AirPods have become a problem, so because of this, Apple has added a built-in feature to iOS 16 that warns users if they connect a pair of counterfeit AirPods with their iPhone or iPad. However, some fake AirPods makers have already found ways around the iOS 16 warning.
