Since the beginning of the war between Israel and Hamas, the supply of US artillery shells to Ukraine has decreased by 30%, reports the US TV channel ABC, citing a high-ranking source in Ukraine.
We are talking about 155 millimeter projectiles, which are used by NATO armies and which make up 60-70% of all arms deliveries to Ukraine.
The source told about the decrease in supplies of 155 millimeter projectiles a day before the visit of US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to Kyiv.
During his visit to Ukraine on Monday, Austin once again assured Kyiv that “the United States will continue to support Ukraine in its struggle for freedom against Russian aggression.”
Even before that, the White House has repeatedly emphasized that it is necessary to continue supporting Kyiv.
Despite Washington’s claims that aid to Ukraine will not be reduced due to the war between Israel and Hamas, arms supplies to Kyiv have significantly decreased since the beginning of October, the ABC source said.
