The United States does not plan to fight on Israel’s side in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This was announced today, October 12, by John Kirby, coordinator of strategic communications at the National Security Council.
“There is no intention, no plan and, frankly, no desire on the part of the Israelis for our combat troops to take part in this conflict,” he said at a White House briefing.
The US administration provides unspecified military assistance to Israel. Earlier, Washington sent an aircraft carrier strike group to the eastern Mediterranean.
As reported EADailyaccording to The Times newspaper, Britain will send two naval ships to the Eastern Mediterranean and begin observation flights over Israel.
