US ambassador assures that traveling to Mexico is safe

Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (OEM-Informex) .- After the Center for Disease Control (CDC) issued a statement in late November warning Americans against all travel to Mexico due to an increase in the total number of cases of COVID-19, the United States Ambassador, Christopher Landau, assured that it is possible to travel and do tourism in Mexico during the coronavirus pandemic, as he himself has verified how hotels and restaurants follow health protocols, specifically referring to destinations with a tourist vocation such as Los Cabos.

His statements were made on December 9 during his participation in the second edition of Tianguis de Pueblos Mágicos and published by the newspaper El Financiero.

Ambassador Landau has been a strong promoter of tourism in Mexico and in a recent interview with the newspaper El Financiero he said: “I have been able to verify that it is possible (to continue traveling) by following health protocols and I have seen that hotels, restaurants take it very seriously, and I am happy to follow the protocols, ”said the ambassador.
