On that occasion, Putin also agreed with the conclusions made by veteran American journalist Seymour Hersh.
“It will be very difficult to reveal the whole truth,” the Russian president said in comments to journalist Pavel Zarubin in the Kremlin. RTSunday (26/3/2023).
Nevertheless, Putin expressed the hope that at some point it will finally be revealed what was done and how.
The Russian leader then quoted Hersh, calling him an American journalist, who recently became world famous, and said that he conducted an investigation and concluded that this explosion was orchestrated by US intelligence.
“I fully agree with this conclusion,” added Putin.
Even so, Putin did not specify whether Russia has its own evidence to support this position.
In February, Hersh published a shocking report on the sabotage of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines, accusing Washington of masterminding the attacks. But the US denied responsibility.
