Los Angeles (AP) – US actress Lindsay Lohan <!––> (34, “Girls Club – Be careful!”) Gets the lead role in a Netflix romance.
She will play a spoiled and newly engaged hotel heiress who loses her memory in a skiing accident and is taken in by an “attractive hut landlord” and his precocious daughter, the streaming service said. The other cast of the still untitled comedy was initially not known.
Lohan has only had minor appearances or roles in cheap productions in recent years, such as the 2019 horror thriller “Among the Shadows”. The former child star became known through hit comedies such as “Freaky Friday”, “Girls Club – Caution Biting” and the Käfer clothing “Herbie Fully Loaded”. But then Lohan hit the headlines with drug excesses, arrests for drink-driving, and scandals, and his film career lay fallow for a long time.
