WASHINGTON, Nov 30 (Reuters) – The private sector in the United States created 127,000 jobs in November, according to a monthly survey by the ADP firm, a lower-than-expected figure that confirms the trend of a slowdown in the labor market amid increase in interest rates.
Economists and analysts polled by Reuters have forecast an average of 200,000 job creations.
The ADP survey is released two days ahead of the Labor Department’s monthly report which, according to the consensus, is expected to show a slowdown in nonfarm payrolls to 200,000 in November from 261,000 in October. (Report Lucia Mutikani, French version Marc Angrand, said by Blandine Hnault)
