Uruguay added 8,940 new cases of covid-19 this Sunday and registered five deaths with the disease, according to the daily report of the National Emergency System (Sinae).
Of the 25,231 tests carried out, 8,940 were positive, so the country has accumulated 588,995 total cases since March 13, 2020, when the health emergency was decreed when the first four SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infections were detected.
