On Sunday night, Susana Giménez received Úrsula Corberó on her program, in what was the second broadcast of the cycle on Telefe. During the interview, the Spanish actress who went to promote Luis Ortega’s new film that has her as the protagonist, El Jockey, recalled the story behind the first meeting she had with “el Chino” Darín.
Excellent. Our comment on The Jockey, the film that represents the country at the Oscars: gallop into the abyss
Úrsula, 35, recalled how she met Darín while they were both participating in the series The Embassy in 2016. “The first time I met Chino, I was doing costume fittings. We change each other without knowing each other. Suddenly, he arrives, I had never seen him before and I said: ‘Hello, I’m your girlfriend.’ “It was a demonstration,” the actress said with a laugh.
Susana, surprised by the audacity of the young actress, expressed: “How incredible and brave you were!” But Corberó clarified that he had not meant it, but rather said that because she was playing his partner in fiction. Then, the host continued: “I thought it occurred to you at that moment. Was there a crush?”
The Spanish woman confessed that, although she did not know if Ricardo’s son had felt the same thing immediately, and that, if it happened, he hid it very well. She even remembered a curious phrase that Darín told her: “You have to do (gesture of indifference) girls like you, because they do have all the attention.”
Susana also spoke about the life as a couple that Úrsula and El Chino formed, mentioning the close bond they maintain with the Darín family. “They started a family, even though they don’t have children, because they are with the Daríns a lot. “They travel as a group,” commented the driver. Corberó agreed, adding: “Yes, we do it quite a bit. With the Chinese, we are always on a plane. When it’s not for him, it’s for me. “Either he travels to see me or I come here.”
