Urso’s complaint: “My emails and bank accounts were penetrated when I was at Copasir”

“In the last legislature I was the president of the Parliamentary Committee for the Security of the Republic (Copasir), the one that supervises intelligence activity and national security issues in general. And during those years I ascertained that my e-mail and I made a report to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and now I have ascertained from what emerged in Perugia that I had also been penetrated into the current accounts”, denounces the Minister of Business, Adolfo Ursocommenting on the dossier case on the sidelines of an initiative in Bologna. “The government and Parliament are right to find out.”

From Urso’s words it emerges that, when he held the role of president of Copasir during the Draghi government, “someone” had viewed and extrapolated his emails and “someone else” had entered his current accounts. “It is clear that the problem exists and This government is doing a good job and I believe that Parliament should also investigate and intervene, because new technologies broaden the universe and make it more penetrable”, comments the minister.
