Urology symposium: prostate cancer and patients’ quality of life – November 27, 2024 (Brussels)

This symposium will take place on Wednesday November 27 at 7:00 p.m.. It is part of the traditional support that the Saint-Jean Clinic provides to the campaign Movemberan international operation to raise awareness of male pathologies. On this occasion, we will present to you the latest news and major advances in our service:

  • As of October 1, Doctor Sam Ward succeeds Doctor Peter De Wil as head of department.
  • Clinique Saint-Jean acquired the Da Vinci robot (in its Xi version, the most recent and most optimized), which strengthens our capacity to offer cutting-edge surgical treatments.
  • Two new urologists strengthen our team: Doctor Mehdi Bsilat (as of December 1, 2024) and Doctor Donald Vaganee (as of March 1, 2025).
  • Other important investments: a new cystoscope and a new Lithotripter.
  • Finally, by 2025 we will use two new devices (laser and cystoscope), as well as two new techniques (iTIND and optilume).
