Lisbon, Apr 5 (EFE) .- Colombian Oporto players Matheus Uribe and Luis Díaz appeal to the spirit of their compatriots Falcao, James or Jackson Martínez to vindicate the importance for them of the quarter-finals of the Champions League that they will play against Chelsea.
In statements published by Porto on their social networks, the two players recalled the role that Porto plays to catapult Colombian players in Europe, such as Radamel Falcao García, James Rodríguez, Juanfer Quintero, Jackson Martínez or Fredy Guarín.
Both the first leg and the return leg will be played in Seville and at the first match, which will take place next Wednesday, Porto arrives with a “mentality and attitude of wanting to eat this competition,” says midfielder Uribe.
The winger Luis Díaz, one of the most unbalancing players in Porto, insists that ‘we are prepared and we have a good team’, while Uribe recalls that the presence in the quarterfinals, after eliminating Juventus from Ronaldo, ‘no one has given us a gift’ .
