“Urgently”: Association of Criminal Lawyers received a complaint from Taroco’s lawyer

The Association of Criminal Lawyers received the complaint made by the defense lawyer of the former director of Comcar Carlos Taroco, Leonardo Nilson, after being threatened with death. The president of the organization, Juan Fagúndez, posted the news.

“So it is the lawyers who get information and end up receiving death threats. The colleague raised this issue with the Association and today sent a copy of the complaint,” said Fagúndez.

In turn, he assured that the board will meet shortly to support Nilson and take a position on this serious accusation. “We hope that the Prosecutor’s Office urgently gives it the importance it deserves,” concluded Fagúndez.

As reported by Montevideo Portal, Nilson was threatened with death last Thursday around 11:00 p.m.
