Independent/- Apple was forced to issue urgent updates for the new operating system iOS 17, just days after its launch.
iOS 17.0.1, now available globally, fixes three security flaws that made devices vulnerable to “malware.”
The update was allocated to all iPhone models that are still supported by the technology giant, that is, those released in 2018 and later.
iOS 17.0.2 also fixes a problem that may prevent data from being transferred directly from an older iPhone during setup.
Therefore, if you have a new iPhone 15, you should update it to iOS 17.0.2 before you try to transfer data from your old device, not after.
All you have to do is go to your device settings and select “General” followed by “Software Update.” Clicking “Download and Install” should start the update, which may take a few minutes to complete.
The state-of-the-art software includes many exciting features, including a live voicemail tool and the ability to share your contact details simply by touching your iPhone to another device.
