After the dollar price went up and the Central Bank of Egypt raised interest rates, Banque Misr issued a savings certificate with a high yield, at 17.25%, under the name of Summit Certificate, which is the highest yield in the banking market.
A large number of citizens went to Banque Misr to purchase this certificate and invest their money in it, instead of gold, the price of which has risen and is no longer suitable for investment.
The news spread that Banque Misr decided to stop issuing the summit certificate, which was paid with a return of 17.25%, because it had obtained what was requested and had reached the specified amount of money.
And by contacting Masdar Bank’s customer service, they confirmed that Banque Misr is continuing to issue the certificate.
It hasn’t stopped issuing and anyone can buy it at any time.
