Urgent statement from the Security Affairs Coordination Committee in the state of Khartoum

The Security Affairs Coordination Committee in the state of Khartoum has been in permanent session since this morning, Saturday, corresponding to April 15, 2023 AD, to follow up the course of events that took place in the state, and in relation to the current security conditions, the committee decided the following:
1/ That tomorrow, Sunday, corresponding to April 16, 2023 AD, be an official holiday in the state of Khartoum, in order to preserve citizens and their property.
2/ The honorable citizens should stay away from the military areas and any places that could be a target for the ongoing operations, and stay in their homes as much as possible.
3/ The continuation of the state government and localities in providing all necessary services to citizens.
4/ Investigating receiving news from reliable and official sources and not being carried away by rumors that may affect their safety and security.
