THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Speaker has approved the urgent resolution on the CAG report that the debt incurred, including the sale of masala bonds through Kifbi, is an administrative violation. The discussion will be at 12.30 pm. There will be an hour and a half discussion. VD Satheesan from the Opposition issued a notice seeking permission to introduce the urgent motion.
Finance Minister TM Thomas Isaac has sharply criticized the CAG. He told the House that the report was prepared without consulting the government. The government then decided to discuss the resolution.
