Dr. Hala Zayed added that the stock of preventive supplies has been increased, and manpower has been trained on issuing scientific protocols regarding dealing with cases infected with the virus and controlling infection, and this is done with doubling the work of the laboratory system at the level of the Republic.
The operational capacity is increased, which is a total of 61 laboratories, and the efficiency of screening, chest, fever and isolation hospitals is increased, as well as developing the gas network and increasing the supply of hospitals with all devices, including CT scans.
In addition to cooperation with the World Health Organization, work is underway to start preparing a Vaxira production line to transfer the manufacturing technology for the Coronavirus vaccines, and with the completion of the first phase of clinical trials on two vaccines for Sinopharma, with 300,000 participants.
The capacity of Hotline 105 was increased to receive calls from infected or suspected cases, and the Minister of Health and Population indicated regarding the continuation of work on all public health initiatives, the continuation of treatment convoys, and the distribution of bags of treatment protocols.
With the disbursement of subsidized industrial milk for a period of 3 months and routine vaccinations, the system of ending the waiting lists for surgical operations continues, and treatment decisions are issued at the expense of the state and health insurance for a period of 3 months for chronic diseases.
