The Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Health, Dr. Hani Joukhadar, announced that, during the next few years, a number of other anti-corona virus vaccines will be launched in the Kingdom, after the Saudi Food and Drug Authority approves and approves them.
It should be noted that the “Pfizer-Biontech” company vaccine is the only vaccine approved in the Kingdom so far, which has been vaccinated since the start of the vaccination campaign in Saudi Arabia in December of last year.
According to Al-Youm newspaper, Joukhadar indicated that some companies that manufacture Corona vaccines have offered their vaccines to the Food and Drug Authority for evaluation and permission for their use in the Kingdom.
It is worth noting that the Saudi Ministry of Health had announced, earlier, the launch of a health passport service for those who received the vaccine against Covid-19, stressing that this step will provide a great service that the health authorities will benefit from in knowing who received the vaccine and being assured of achieving the targets.
