Social movement of social workers and technical advisors of National Education and Higher Education on Thursday April 4.
Following an inter-union appeal, SNASEN UNSA, the majority union of social staff in National Education and Higher Education in the Dijon academy, supports the strike movement this Thursday, April 4.
Following the unprecedented mobilization of social workers in Paris on March 22, the movement of anger is growing.
The ministry remains deaf to our demands while the sharp deterioration of our working conditions, the lack of resources and the absence of any salary increase cause the feeling of being invisible, exhaustion and unease. As vacancies struggle to find candidates, this cannot continue!
Social workers are confronted with increasingly dramatic situations involving pupils, students, parents and staff.
Additional missions are added to the workload, without sufficient time or additional staff. It is increasingly difficult to do this job correctly in the interest of students, families and staff.
Salaries, positions, working conditions: this cannot continue!
SNASEN UNSA with other trade union organizations demands, among other things:
- The revaluation of index grids up to category A Type for AS and A+ for CTSS
- The attribution of the CTI (49 index points, i.e. a salary increase of €189 net/month)
- Refusal of merit pay
- Integrating IFSE into treatment
- The maintenance and enhancement of social services, technical social service assistants and advisors within the Ministry of National Education, without any restructuring into a medico-social team
- A massive creation of positions in the 3 social services: for the benefit of pupils, students and staff
- The creation of a specific first-degree social service with supervision, resources and dedicated training
- Automatic promotion as soon as the regulatory conditions are met and temporarily significantly increased promotion rates to allow a rapid career progression over two grades for all without notion of merit
- A budget for travel expenses commensurate with needs as well as the revaluation of these expenses
As part of the day of strike and demonstration of social workers, our organizations called on social service technical assistants and advisors to strike and participate in demonstrations and rallies organized on Thursday, April 4. It is urgent to make ourselves visible so that the anger of the social services of National Education and Higher Education can no longer be ignored!
