Military Warns of Threat of Attacks in Ukraine

The military has issued a warning about the threat of attacks in various regions of Ukraine. The Sumy region is particularly at risk of attacks by loitering ammunition, also known as shock drones. In addition, there is a threat of enemy missile attacks in several regions, with the publication stating, “Attention! East, South – missile danger!”

The Armed Forces are urging citizens not to ignore air raid signals and have declared alarms in almost half of the territory of Ukraine. A map of air alerts on the night of June 24 shows the extent of the danger.

The alarm has expanded to other regions as well. The Chernihiv region has also recorded the threat of strike drone attacks, leading to air raid sirens being sounded. Alarms have also been sounded in Kyiv and the surrounding region, as well as in other areas. Residents are being asked to go to shelters and to remember the “two walls” rule.

The Air Force has announced a missile threat in the Center of Ukraine. The map of air alerts on the night of June 24 shows that cruise missiles are moving from south to north. Subsequently, the military announced a missile threat in the West of the country.

Sergei Popko, the head of the Kyiv GVA, has called on the people of Kiev to seek shelter until the end of the air raid alert. He has declared that the capital is under a missile hazard.

The Air Force has reported the detection of several cruise missiles moving from the south towards the central regions. The map of air alerts on the night of June 24 provides a visual representation of the areas affected.

In a separate development, the Air Force has announced an air attack on Ukraine on the night of June 24. Enemy aircraft launched X-101/555 cruise missiles into Ukraine from the territory of the Russian Federation, originating from the waters of the Caspian Sea. The estimated time of their entry into Ukrainian airspace is 02:20.

It is worth noting that prior to this attack, four air alerts were announced on Friday, with the last one occurring around 23:00. However, it did not last long. The Air Force has also reported the launch of cruise missiles.

This follows a previous air attack by the Russian Federation on Ukraine on the night of June 22. During that attack, the Russian Federation launched three X-22 cruise missiles, three Kinzhal ballistic missiles, and four Shahed kamikaze drones in Ukraine. The Ukrainian air defense forces successfully shot down three enemy drones.

The situation remains tense as Ukraine faces ongoing threats and attacks. The military and authorities continue to work to ensure the safety and security of the country and its citizens.

Other major cities as a precautionary measure.

The military’s warning comes amid heightened tensions and ongoing conflicts in eastern Ukraine. The use of shock drones and missile attacks by enemy forces poses a significant threat to the safety and security of the country.

Loitering ammunition, or shock drones, are unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that are specifically designed to carry explosives and inflict damage on targets. These drones can be small in size and difficult to detect, making them a dangerous threat to unsuspecting civilians.

In response to the threat, the Armed Forces are urging citizens to remain vigilant and to heed air raid signals. The declaration of alarms in almost half of the territory of Ukraine underscores the seriousness of the situation.

The map of air alerts on the night of June 24 highlights the areas that are most at risk, particularly the Sumy and Chernihiv regions. It is crucial for residents in these regions to take the necessary precautions and be prepared for any potential attacks.

The expansion of the alarm to other regions, including Kyiv and other major cities, shows that the threat is not limited to specific areas. The military’s proactive measures, such as sounding air raid sirens, are aimed at ensuring the safety and protection of the population.

As tensions in Ukraine continue to escalate, it is of utmost importance for citizens to stay informed and follow the guidance and instructions provided by the authorities. By staying vigilant and prepared, individuals can contribute to the overall security and resilience of their communities.
