Urgent: 6 months imprisonment for “Amr Waked” and a fine for evading taxes

The Tax Evasion Misdemeanor Court, held in the fifth assembly, headed by Counselor Mohamed Jameel, and the presence of Counselor Amr Hisham, Under-Secretary General, and the Secretariat of Wissam Hanafi, punished the artist Amr Abdel Latif Imam, who is known as “Amr Waked”, with 6 months imprisonment and a 10 thousand fine, 312 thousand and 963 pounds, the equivalent of a tax due on him, and his obligation to the expenses, to be charged with evading taxes.

Case No. 203 of 2019 revealed general taxes, that the artist, “Amr Abdel Latif Imam,” known as “Amr Waked”, evaded the payment of 312 thousand and 963 pounds, from acting and films that he participated in.

The Tax Evasion Misdemeanor Court, headed by Counselor Mohamed Jameel, and the presence of Counselor Amr Hisham, Attorney General, and the Wissam Hanafi Secretariat, considered the case referred from public taxes, and determined the hearing of the previous ruling.
