From the new year, among others, the method of determining advance tax and health insurance contributions. This may have an impact on the amount of pension benefits paid by ZUS in 2022. It results from the provisions of the Tax New Deal. This is how ZUS will now calculate and pay the net amount of the old-age pension, starting with the January benefit.

In a similar manner, ZUS will pay out not only retirement and disability pensions, but also other benefits that are subject to PIT taxation and for which a health insurance contribution is collected.
Due to the changes introduced by the Tax New Deal (details below), pensions and other benefits paid by the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) will be paid (transferred to the account) in a different amount than in December and earlier, with the same gross amount.
